I founded Paths of the Past, and I plan, drive and guide every tour myself. When you travel with me, you get one person who knows your plans from the first message to the moment I drop you back.
How a love of Scotland became my work
I moved to Scotland five years ago because I loved its landscapes and its history, and I’ve been out exploring it every week since.
It started with showing friends around, then friends of friends. In the end I decided to make it my work, and Paths of the Past was born.
I’m based in Stirling, right in the middle of the country, so Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Highlands, Perthshire and Fife are all within easy reach.

Your pace, your list
There’s no fixed route and no timetable. We go where you want to go, stop when you want to stop, and stay longer wherever you’re enjoying yourself.
The places most people miss
I love taking people off the beaten track: a quiet ruin, a waterfall a short walk from the road, the viewpoint the coaches drive straight past.
Comfortable and private
Just your group, in an executive Mercedes-Benz with room for up to seven and all your luggage. Licensed and insured for private hire.
Lima planned the most perfect four days for our very first visit to Scotland with the children. She really knows all the best spots. Highly recommend!
