What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used. We only set analytics cookies if you say yes.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you’re happy for us to use analytics cookies. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose. You can change your mind at any time.
The cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expires | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| potp-consent | Paths of the Past | Remembers your cookie choice, stored in your browser’s local storage | Until you clear it | Essential |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart so we can count visitors | 2 years | Analytics, only with consent |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit | 2 years | Analytics, only with consent |
Booking
Online bookings and payments are handled by Bókun. When you use the booking calendar, Bókun and its payment partners may set cookies that are needed to complete your booking securely. These are covered by Bókun’s own privacy and cookie policies.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also see, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as booking, from working.
